Turkey Has Become A New Focal Point: The Situation Is Already Worse Than It Was In China
The number of confirmed coronavirus infections in Turkey has risen to 86,306, making the situation worse in the country than in China.

According to the Turkish health minister over the weekend, the
number of confirmed coronavirus infections rose to 86,306, making Turkey the
highest number of infections outside Europe and the United States. In the
last 24 hours, the number of people infected in Turkey has increased by 3,977,
ahead of China.

A further 127 people have died, according to the country's
health minister, bringing the number of deaths from the coronavirus epidemic to
2,017 in Turkey. So far, 11,976 people have been cured in the country, and
the number of tests performed in the past twenty-four hours has been 35,344.

In Turkey, the first coronavirus patient was reported on March
10, the number of confirmed cases has since risen sharply, and the number of
infections is the seventh highest in the world. More than 634,000 people
have been tested in Turkey so far.
